Molly Bea Browers

Molly Bea Browers, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at the age of 65, after a courageous battle with illness, ultimately succumbing to heart issues. Born on May 16, 1961 in Ithaca, New York. Molly was a beacon of love and warmth to all who knew her. The daughter of Lola Calhoun and Howard Ayres, Molly was raised in a home filled with love and laughter. She married the love of her life, Harry Browers, on December 2, 1978, in North Carolina. Their union was blessed with 44 wonderful years, during which they created a nurturing home for their three cherished children: MaryAnn McKinnon (Tim McKinnon), Lola Slavens (John Ryan Slavens), and Harry Browers Jr. (Lacey Browers). Molly was preceded in death by her devoted husband Harry, her beloved parents Lola and Howard, her granddaughter Angelina Cyr, and her brothers Scott and Steve Ayres. Her enduring legacy continues through her surviving siblings Doug Ayres (BobbyAnn Ayres), Sheldon Ayres (Debbie Ayres), and her sister Lucinda Blackmon (Ayers). She was a cherished grandmother to Zander, Angelina, Lona (Damien) Alex (Chelsea), Saphyre, Katie, Kaiah, Elijah, Manny, and great-grandson Ollie, whose lives she enriched with endless love and treasured memories. A dedicated homemaker, Molly found great joy in nurturing her family. Her presence at home was the heart of the Browers family, providing warmth and guidance. Outside of her family, Molly occasionally attended The Salvation Army church, finding solace and community in her faith. Molly's hands were rarely idle; she was a talented crocheter, creating beautiful works of art that warmed both homes and hearts. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her grandchildren, to whom she was both a loving guide and a playful companion. The family will hold a private funeral to honor Molly's life and memory. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that donations be made to a charity of choice or in Molly’s name to The Salvation Army, reflecting her enduring spirit of kindness and giving. Later this year, a celebration of life will be held to honor Molly’s beautiful journey, open to all who wish to pay their respects and share memories. Molly Bea Browers will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love, strength, and devotion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched. Her family finds solace in the thought that she is reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her, and they take comfort in the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
