Faye was preceded in death by her cherished husband, Garland, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life centered around their family and faith. She is survived by her loving children, Shane (Torie) Hester and her adopted son, Ryan (Caitlin) Swilley, who were her pride and joy. Her legacy continues through her four adored grandchildren, Ethan Hester, Maddie, Bub, and Ada Grace Swilley, who brought immense joy to her heart. A dedicated homemaker, Faye found fulfillment and happiness in nurturing her family and home. She was a talented seamstress and an exceptional cook, often filling her kitchen with the enticing aroma of her homemade jams and jellies. Faye also found great joy in singing hymns and worship songs, offering her voice in praise of her Savior. Faye was a devout Christian and a treasured member of Faith Memorial Baptist Church. Her faith was woven into the fabric of her life, guiding her actions and inspiring those around her. She taught Sunday School and was known for her warm, bright smile and the kindness she showed to everyone she met. Her commitment to serving others reflected her devotion to the teachings of Christ. A service to celebrate Faye's life will be held on September 24, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Memorial Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to gather and honor the remarkable woman she was.
