May 26, 1996 — June 11, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mitchell Sanders, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left this world on June 11, 2026, at the age of 30. Born on May 26, 1996, in the serene town of Whistler, Alabama, Mitchell was a beacon of determination and strength, whose life, though brief, was filled with warmth, laughter, and an enduring spirit.
Mitchell was the cherished son of the late Deborah and Mitchell Sanders Sr., and a devoted brother to Keidreana Sanders, who survives him. He was predeceased by his loving parents, his dear sister Keidreana, and his treasured nieces, Nia and Nyla Wilder, whose memories he carried with him always.
A proud alumnus of Saraland High School, Mitchell pursued higher education at Lane College, where he developed a passion for mechanics, leading him to a fulfilling career as a CBR Mechanist. His colleagues remember him not only for his expertise but also for his unwavering commitment and his competitive spirit, which inspired those around him to strive for excellence.
Mitchell’s zest for life was evident in his love for fishing, sports, and cooking. He found solace in the gentle rhythm of casting a line, and joy in the camaraderie of a spirited game. In the kitchen, he was both innovative and traditional, crafting meals that brought his family and friends together, creating lasting memories.
Known for being a hustler, Mitchell approached life with tenacity and vigor. His competitive nature was balanced by a heart full of kindness and generosity, always willing to lend a hand or share a word of encouragement. Those who knew him were touched by his infectious smile and his ability to make everyone feel valued and appreciated.
A celebration of Mitchell’s life will be held on June 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a life that was lived with passion and purpose, to share stories, and to remember the indelible mark Mitchell has left on our hearts.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to the staff at Mobile Infirmary for their tireless efforts and dedication in caring for Mitchell during his final days. Their compassion and professionalism provided comfort and solace during a difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mitchell’s name to a charity of your choice, reflecting his spirit of giving and community support. As we say goodbye, we hold onto the love and memories Mitchell gifted us, and we find peace in knowing he is reunited with those he loved and lost.
Mitchell Sanders, though no longer with us in body, remains forever in our hearts, a guiding light and a cherished memory.
