Missionary Ann L Hadley

March 7, 1942 — March 6, 2026

Missionary Ann L Hadley, a beacon of love and faith, was gently called home on March 6, 2026, just one day shy of her 84th birthday. Born on March 7, 1942, in Eastman, Georgia, Ann was the cherished daughter of the late Robert Sr. and Annie Mae Bray. Her life was a testament to the power of devotion, family, and community, and her legacy will continue to touch the lives of those who knew her. Ann's journey was marked by her unwavering commitment to her faith and her family. She met every challenge with grace and every blessing with gratitude. A graduate of Melbourne High School, Ann's professional life was dedicated to supporting the family business as the Chief Financial Officer of Hadley's Landscaping. Her work was not just a career but a testament to her belief in diligence and integrity. A devoted servant of the Lord, Ann was an active member of the First Church of God in Christ on Lipscomb Street from the tender age of 17. Her commitment to her faith and her community led her to become a respected missionary, where she touched countless lives with her compassion and kindness. Ann's presence in the church was a constant source of strength and inspiration, and her spirit of service was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Ann's heart was as vast as her faith. She was married to her beloved husband, Leroy Hadley, with whom she shared a life filled with love, partnership, and joy. Together, they raised two sons, Jerome, who predeceased her, and Willie Hadley (Nalani), who continues to honor her legacy. Ann was a proud grandmother to five grandchildren and a doting great-grandmother to three, each of whom she cherished dearly. Her family, including her surviving brothers Robert (Gloria) Jr. and John L (Ann) Bray, and sisters Bertha (Jesse) Pruitt, Eldora Staley, and Jeanette (Gary) James, alongside her sister-in-law Leartis (Doug) Brothers and Patricia Bray, were the center of her world. Ann's passions extended beyond her family and faith. She was an avid baker and cook, delighting in crafting meals that brought warmth and joy to every gathering. Her kitchen was a place of love and laughter, where stories were shared, and memories were made. The family of Missionary Ann L Hadley wishes to express their deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time of bereavement. Your prayers, visits, calls, cards, flowers, food, and gestures of kindness have been a source of comfort and strength. We ask that you continue to keep us in your prayers as we navigate this profound loss. A celebration of Ann's extraordinary life will be held at Greater Faith Temple Church of God in Christ, located at 2701 Leonard Weaver Blvd, Melbourne, FL 32901. The service will be a tribute to a life lived with purpose, filled with love for her family, her faith, and the countless lives she touched. Though Missionary Ann L Hadley has departed this earthly realm, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those she loved and served. Her legacy of faith, love, and service is an enduring testament to a life well-lived.
