Born on May 29, 1972, in Trenton, NJ, Who went by the name Tameka. Her 53 years were filled with laughter, compassion, and an indomitable spirit that touched all who had the privilege of knowing her. Tameka was predeceased by her dear sons, Jamere and Calvin Rooks, whose memories she held close to her heart every single day. Her strength and resilience in the face of such loss were a testament to her enduring spirit and love for her family. She is survived by her beloved partner, Calvin Blandon, whose steadfast love and companionship were a source of great joy and comfort in her life. Together, they created a nurturing home filled with laughter and love. She was the proud and devoted mother of Ashley Rooks, Shaquanna Rooks, Malcom Rooks, Moesha Rooks, Kashmere White, and Brendaya McBride. She was their guiding light, always providing support and encouragement, and instilling in them the values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance. Her legacy extends to her twelve grandchildren, who were the apples of her eye. Her joy in being their grandmother was boundless, and she cherished every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and affection that will forever remain in their hearts.
