Miriam was born on April 2, 1944, in the serene town of Christiansted, where her journey of love, warmth, and service to others began.
Miriam was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her, and her unwavering spirit and dedication to her family and faith were evident in every aspect of her life. She found joy in simple pleasures, especially in cooking delightful meals that brought her family together around the table. Miriam is survived by her loving and devoted family, who were the pride and joy of her life. Her memory will be cherished by her children: David Rawlins, Vanessa Lang, Monique Phillip, Cassandra Lang, Stephanie Lang, Carolyn Lang, Evette Lang, Monai Parris, Adam Degrafenreid, Chelsea Degrafenreid, David Lang, and Junie Lang. She also leaves behind her four adored grandchildren, who will forever hold her close in their hearts.
A service celebrating Miriam's remarkable life will be held on April 5, 2026, at 9:00 AM at Saint Paul’s Episcopal Anglican Church. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Miriam are invited to gather in her honor, to remember her extraordinary spirit and the love she shared so freely.
