Minnie Mae Daniels

April 14, 1963 — March 21, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Minnie Mae Daniels, who departed from this world on March 21, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Hospital after a courageous battle with illness. Born on April 14, 1963, in the nurturing embrace of Shellman, Georgia, Minnie was a beacon of strength, love, and resilience to all who knew her. Minnie was the cherished daughter of the late Corine Brown Alexander and Lester Daniel Sr. She was preceded in death by her devoted sister, Lillie Blocker, her sister Mary Henderson (Ashley Henderson), and her brother, Leroy Daniel. Despite these profound losses, Minnie remained a pillar of strength and grace, nurturing her family with unwavering dedication and love. Raised in a close-knit family, Minnie received her formal education through the Randolph County School System, where she engaged in various activities and events, laying the foundation for a life rich with community involvement and personal achievement. Her journey through life was marked by her profound commitment to her loved ones and her community. Minnie was blessed with a loving and devoted partner, Donnie Jackson Sr., with whom she shared many wonderful years. Her legacy continues through her five children: Clifford Daniels (Monyetta), Tyrone Daniels, Paul Daniels (Shamine), Antonio Daniels, and Shenika Daniels, as well as two cherished bonus children, Donnie Jackson Jr. and all of Albany, Georgia. Her unwavering devotion extended to her siblings, Theresa Hightower (Thomas), Dorothy Daniels, Lester Daniels Jr., Bettie Daniels all of Albany, Georgia, and Johnnie Daniel (Betty Daniel) of Valdosta, Georgia. Minnie also leaves behind a dedicated and loving cousin, Courtney Fletcher, of Graniteville, South Carolina. A matriarch in every sense, Minnie was the proud grandmother to 18 grandchildren and the adoring great-grandmother to 3 great-grandchildren. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished each moment spent with them, creating memories that will be treasured for generations. Minnie’s life was a testament to the power of love, resilience, and selflessness. She touched countless lives with her kindness, her warmth, and her unwavering spirit. Her presence was a guiding light, and her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those she held dear. As we bid farewell to our beloved Minnie, we celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will endure through the many lives she has touched. Though she has left this earthly realm, her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. A memorial service to honor Minnie Mae Daniels's remarkable life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to share memories, celebrate her life, and say their final goodbyes. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Minnie’s memory to a charity of your choice, reflecting her spirit of generosity and kindness. Minnie Mae Daniels will be dearly missed, but her legacy of love and strength will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in eternal peace, forever surrounded by the love she so generously gave.
