Milton Terry "TC" Cartledge

October 7, 1960 — August 14, 2026

Milton Terry "TC" Cartledge, a cherished soul who brightened the lives of many, was born on October 7, 1960, in Thomson, Georgia. He peacefully departed this earthly home on August 14, 2026, at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, entering his eternal resting place with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. TC was a beloved son of the late Luther D. and Barbara Jean Lewis Cartledge. He was preceded in death by several dear family members, including his grandmother Mrs. Queen Ester (Ramsey) Lewis, sister Beverly J. Cartledge, and adorned beautiful niece Brittany Janae Cartledge, amongst others who have gone before him. His legacy lives on through his adored son Terry (Charletta) Cartledge and beloved daughter KaTiffany Readdy. He was also a cherished father figure to his stepchildren Rodriguez Wiley and Antorio (Kathrina) Kendrick. He was a proud grandfather to fifteen grandchildren, ____, each of whom he treasured deeply. He was further blessed with two great-grandchildren. TC's surviving family includes his two beautiful sisters, Mildred Cartledge and Tammie Davis, and his favorite brother, Dantavious Cartledge. He is fondly remembered by his uncle Matthew (Betty) Lewis, auntie Brenda Lewis, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends who will all miss him dearly. Educated at Thomson High School, TC later devoted many years of his career to John Deer until his health necessitated a change. His commitment to faith was unwavering as a devoted member of the First Mount Carmel Baptist Church under the guidance of Reverend Roscoe Perry. A man of simple pleasures, TC found joy in the camaraderie of college football, particularly cheering for Georgia Tech, and relished the excitement of Atlanta Braves baseball games. He enjoyed home cooked meals, dancing while spending time with his family. A service to honor and celebrate TC’s life will be held on Saturnday, August 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM at First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, located at 6269 Cobbham Road, Appling, Columbia County, Georgia. The family of Milton "TC" Cartledge would like to express our deepest appreciation for all the kindness shown during this time of bereavement. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. May his soul rest in peace, embraced by the love of those who have gone before him, and may his memory be a blessing to all who knew him.
