Honoring the Life of Milton Sims It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Milton Sims, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on October 1, 2026. Born on January 4, 1968, in the close-knit community of Biloxi, Mississippi, Milton's journey was one filled with love, laughter, and unwavering commitment to his family and friends. Milton was the cherished son of the late Mable and John Sims, who instilled in him the values of kindness and perseverance. He was also predeceased by his dear wife, Erlene Butts Sims, whose memory he treasured deeply. Together, they created a nurturing home and a legacy of love, raising three wonderful daughters, Melissa, Mya, and Michelle, who will forever carry his teachings and unconditional love in their hearts. A devoted grandfather, Milton's eyes sparkled with pride whenever he spoke of his grandchildren—Asia, Danielle, Michelle, Milton, and Jayson. They were the light of his life, and he found immense joy in their laughter and achievements. Milton's life was also shaped by the bonds he shared with his siblings. Though preceded in death by his sister, Donna Sisson, he maintained close ties with his nieces, Adrina and Marie Sisson, and a host of extended family and friends, who will all miss his warmth and generous spirit. Milton's legacy will be celebrated at a service on October 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM. In honoring his life, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, reflecting Milton's belief in the power of giving and community support. The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who have provided comfort and support during this difficult time. Milton's life was a testament to the power of love and the importance of family, and he will be remembered with fondness and admiration by all who were fortunate enough to know him. In this time of mourning, we hold onto the memories of a man who lived fully, laughed heartily, and loved deeply. His spirit will continue to guide and inspire us, and his absence will be felt profoundly. May Milton Sims rest in peace, forever in our hearts.
