June 10, 2020 — April 20, 2026

With heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Milo Galimore, who left this world on April 20, 2026, after a courageous battle following an unfortunate incident involving a plastic water bottle. Born on June 10, 2020, in Raleigh, North Carolina, Milo graced the lives of his family and friends with joy, energy, and an unforgettable spirit. Milo was the cherished companion of Laila Galimore, his devoted mother, who provided him with endless love and care. Although his time with us was brief, Milo's impact was profound. He was a bright, lively presence, known for his quick speed and his beautiful, toothless smile that could light up even the cloudiest of days. Milo had a zest for life that was infectious, and his playful antics brought laughter and warmth to everyone who knew him. Whether he was racing around the yard or indulging in his favorite pastime of chewing on grass, Milo lived each moment to the fullest. His exuberant spirit and loving nature were a source of comfort and happiness, reminding us all of the simple joys life has to offer. Milo was predeceased by his great aunt, Ja'chayla Galimore, and his sibling, Tate Galimore, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms as he crossed the rainbow bridge. A service to celebrate Milo's life will be held on April 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the Winnfield Funeral Home, located at 4113 Jewella Ave, Shreveport, LA. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Winnfield Funeral Home for their compassionate support and to everyone who joins us in honoring the memory of our dear "Millie G." The Galimore family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. Your presence and kindness are a testament to the impact Milo had on all our lives. As we gather to remember the light and joy he brought into our world, we are comforted by the thought that his spirit will forever remain in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to organizations dedicated to preventing and raising awareness about the dangers of plastic waste to our beloved animal companions, ensuring that Milo's legacy continues to touch and protect others. Rest in peace, dear Milo. Your memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved you.
