Michael Brent (Mike) Ranger

Born on May 15, 1947, in Farmington, Franklin, Maine, Mike was the beloved son of Roland and Evelyn (Knowles) Ranger. Mike's life was a testament to courage, service, and unwavering dedication to his country. He proudly served in the U.S. Army from August 1966 until his medical retirement in December 1976. During his distinguished military career, Mike's bravery and leadership earned him a revered place as a life member of the US Army Ranger Hall of Fame and the Legion of Valor. His commitment to his fellow service members was further evidenced through his involvement with the US Army Ranger Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion. Beyond his military service, Mike was known for his love of family, community, and the camaraderie he shared with his fellow veterans. His resilience and strength were matched only by his kindness and generosity, qualities that endeared him to all who had the privilege of knowing him. Mike's legacy is one of honor and devotion, not only to his country but also to his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy that will be cherished by many and remembered with deep gratitude and respect.
