Her tenacity and commitment to fairness were evident in every debate and decision she made on behalf of others.
Mildred was a faithful servant of God at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Andre Conley. Her service extended beyond the pews as she took on the role of Church Trustee and was an active participant on the kitchen committee and Food Bank. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was known as an awesome prayer partner, always ready to engage in meaningful conversations about God.
Beyond her professional and spiritual life, Mildred had a zest for living that manifested in her many interests. Traveling and enjoying outings with friends to lunch and concerts were some of her favorite pastimes.
Mildred was known for her kindness, generosity, and vast knowledge. She was never shy about sharing her opinions, often engaging in debates that were as enlightening as they were engaging. Her warm smile, caring nature, and the love she extended to everyone she met will be deeply missed.
