Born on April 28, 1942, in the charming town of Sidney, Montana, Mildred was the cherished daughter of Felep and Amelia Schmitt. She brought joy and warmth to all who knew her with her gentle spirit and unwavering love.
Mildred was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose life was a testament to kindness and compassion. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her daughter Sandra Renee Lynch and her son Mike Todd Lynch. Mildred's legacy shines brightly in her seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life and the source of her greatest pride.
Predeceased by her beloved daughter, Jerie Lynn Lynch, Mildred's life was marked by resilience and strength. Her ability to find beauty and gratitude even in the face of sorrow was an inspiration to all.
Throughout her life, Mildred embraced her passions with enthusiasm and grace. Her love for fishing and camping reflected her deep appreciation for nature’s serenity and beauty. She was a culinary artist, whose kitchen was always filled with irresistible aromas and the comforting taste of home. Her creative spirit found expression through painting, where she transformed ordinary rocks and birdhouses into vibrant pieces of art that mirrored her joyful and colorful outlook on life.

A celebration of Mildred's remarkable life will be held on May 21, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Church, located at 2120 Olivia Court. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Mildred are warmly invited to attend this service to honor and remember a life well-lived.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Mildred's memory to a charity of your choice, as a tribute to her loving and generous spirit.
