In Loving Memory of Mildred Ann Rogers It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life filled with love, service, and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Mildred Ann Rogers, who departed this life on August 13,2026, at her home in Milford, Delaware, surrounded by loved ones. Mildred was born to Lester Hailey. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose presence brought joy, laughter, and comfort to the lives of so many. Her impact was immeasurable, and the love she shared with her family and friends will continue to live on through the memories she created. Throughout her life, Mildred devoted herself to caring for others. She was a homemaker, daycare owner, neighborhood cook, devoted babysitter, private-duty sitter, and certified nursing assistant. In every role, she brought compassion, dedication, and a nurturing spirit. Her love for cooking was especially well known, and family and friends will fondly remember the delicious meals she prepared and the joy she took in sharing them with others. Mildred was an active member of Believers Faith, Healing and Deliverance Ministry in Seaford, Delaware, where she found a spiritual home and a loving community. Her faith was an important part of her life and guided her throughout her journey. Mildred was a woman of many talents and passions. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, hosting lively family gatherings, dancing, cooking, and enjoying good food with a hearty appetite. She was known for her quick wit, infectious laughter, feisty spirit, and unforgettable dance moves. Above all, Mildred had a loving heart and a way of sharing wisdom that left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Mildred was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lester Hailey; her brother, Edward Phillips; her grandsons, Jaquan Romero and Parris Romero; and her great-granddaughter, Ta’Niya N. Manuel. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her two daughters, Ruby Marshall and Valerie Bundick; her three sons, Charles (Carrie) Marshall, Tyrone (Toni) Marshall, and Angelo (Tonya) Romero Jr.; her special granddaughter, Tanya D. Brewer; her siblings, Virginia Doldren and Debbie (Ronald) Jones; 31 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren, along with other extended family members, church family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched. Mildred's life was a beautiful testament to the power of love, family, faith, laughter, and service. She leaves behind a remarkable family and a legacy that will continue through the generations she loved so dearly. Her laughter, her cooking, her wisdom, her strength, and her unforgettable personality will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Rest peacefully, Mildred.
