Mildred graced this world for 85 years, having been born in Newark, New Jersey, on February 20, 1941, to the late Myles Monaghan and Marie Lillian Rapp. Mildred was a woman of extraordinary warmth, intelligence, and compassion. She lived a life filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to her family and friends. Her journey through life was marked by her tenacity and her ability to bring joy to everyone she met. Mildred's kindness and generosity extended far beyond her immediate family, touching the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She worked in the food service industry her entire life. She enjoyed the beach, needlepoint, crocheting her pets, tarot readings angels and her spiritual connections. A devoted partner to Stephen Collins, Mildred created a loving home and a nurturing environment for her cherished family. She was a guiding light to her children, Melinda Crosson-Finney (James), Barbara Crosson, and Dean Crosson (Stacy), who will forever hold her in their hearts. Her legacy continues through her treasured grandchildren, Eddy Hadzovic, Dean Hadzovic, Gabriela Hadzovic, Phillip Connell, Shannon Connell, and Ryan Connell, who brought immense pride and joy to her life. In addition to her immediate family, Mildred is survived by her loving partner, Stephen, who was her steadfast companion and confidant. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Karen Connell, and her parents, Myles Monaghan and Marie Lillian Rapp, whose memories she cherished deeply. Mildred's life was a testament to resilience and love. Her home was always open, her table always set, and her heart always welcoming. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel special, crafting memories that will be cherished forever. Mildred was a pillar of strength, a beacon of wisdom, and a source of endless support for those around her. Her family will honor her wishes with a private funeral ceremony, allowing them to celebrate her life in an intimate setting that reflects the love and closeness she cherished.
