September 30, 2010 — April 28, 2026
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mike Jezek, a remarkable young man, who left this world far too soon on April 28, 2026. Born on September 30, 2010, in the quaint town of Murr, Mike brought light and laughter into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was the beloved son of Jez and Robin Jezek, who raised him with love and devotion.
Mike was an adventurous spirit with a unique sense of humor and a heart full of kindness. His unexpected departure came under extraordinary circumstances, fighting bravely against a bear. Although he emerged victorious from the fight, a wound led to sepsis, which ultimately claimed his life. His courageous story is a testament to his tenacity and bravery.
Mike spent his formative years attending Franklin Regional High School, where he was known for his quirky, awkward, yet undeniably handsome demeanor. He later furthered his education at WCCC, where he developed a keen interest in machinery and technology. This passion led him to a career at Matt Machine, where he was admired for his skill and innovation in making machines.
From 2015 to 2017, Mike served his country with pride and honor. His military service was a chapter of his life that instilled in him values of discipline, camaraderie, and resilience, which he carried with him throughout his life.
An active member of his community, Mike was also part of the warebot organization, where he contributed his talents and enthusiasm. In his leisure time, Mike enjoyed life's simple and peculiar pleasures. His love for the unique charms of the "poop deli" and his playful spirit were just a few of the traits that made him so endearing to those around him.
Mike's personality was a delightful blend of quirkiness and dreaminess, and his presence was always uplifting. His creativity, matched with his handsome smile, drew people to him and left a lasting impression on everyone he met.
In addition to his parents, Mike is predeceased by his cherished relative, Joey Depaolo, whose memory he held dear.
In honor of Mike's life and legacy, his family has requested that donations be made to Matt Machine, where a memorial fund has been established in his name. This fund will support initiatives that reflect Mike's passion for innovation and technology.
A private funeral ceremony will be held to celebrate Mike's life, allowing his family and close friends to bid their farewells in a personal and intimate setting.
In a special message, Mike's family expresses, "Mike Jezek was an attractive young man who loved the poop deli." This simple yet heartfelt sentiment captures the essence of who Mike was—a young man full of charm and humor, cherished by his family and friends.
Mike's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his memory will continue to inspire and bring joy to all who knew him. May he rest in peace, forever remembered and forever loved.
