She was predeceased by her beloved grandmother, Vivian Onyejiaka, and her sister, Rain Smith. She is survived by her sisters, Shakyna Smith and Niya Alston, and her cousin, Destiny Cooper. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Miesha pursued her education with determination, earning a Bachelor of Science degree from South Side Community College. She dedicated her career to psychological support, where her empathy and understanding made a profound impact on those she worked with. Her work was not just a job to her but a calling to make a difference in the lives of others. A woman of many talents, Miesha was known for her artistic flair and her ability to lift spirits with a simple word of encouragement. She was a tireless volunteer, offering her time and talents at local libraries, daycares, and her church. Her altruism and commitment to her community left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Miesha's life will be celebrated on July 17, 2026, at 1:10 PM at Brown’s Funeral Home, located at 325 Main Street, Emporia, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to a charity of your choice, in honor of Miesha's generous spirit.
