Born on August 31, 1961, in San Antonio, Texas, Mickey was a beacon of joy and warmth, known for his quick wit and unmistakable smile that could light up any room. Mickey was the cherished son of Manuel and Teresa Bueno, and he was predeceased by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter, survived by his beloved wife of 40 years, Wanda Colon-Bueno, with whom he shared a lifetime of happiness and unwavering partnership. Together, they built a family that became the center of Mickey's world. A devoted family man, Mickey is lovingly remembered by his stepson, Miguel Quinones, and his siblings, Ted and Herman Bueno. Mickey was a proud and doting grandfather to his eight grandchildren: Marisella (Cerene), Elisabeth (Chandler), Matthew, Mackenzie, Maurice, Madelyn, Michael, and Jude. He was eagerly anticipating the joy of becoming a great-grandfather in 2027. Mickey's kindness and generosity were hallmark traits that touched countless lives. He had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcome and valued, always ready with a joke to lift spirits and bring people together. He was a pillar of strength and support for his family and friends, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is also survived by his uncle, Narciso Padilla, his aunt, Ofelia Ortega, and numerous cousins, all of whom held a special place in his heart. The family would like to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.
