It is with profound love and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the peaceful passing of our cherished matriarch, Michiline Timothy, who departed this life on April 7, 2026, at the age of 96. She passed away surrounded by the warmth of her legacy and the enduring love of her family. Born on January 13, 1930, in the vibrant city of Port Au Prince, Haiti, Michiline was the beloved daughter of Harriet and David Timothy. Her journey through life was marked by grace, strength, and an unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She was a beacon of wisdom and kindness, whose gentle spirit and caring heart left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her home was a sanctuary of comfort, filled with laughter, love, and the delicious meals she so lovingly prepared. Michiline shared an extraordinary love story with her devoted husband, Wendell Timothy. Their union, forged in faith and respect, began in 1959 after a chance meeting at church three years earlier. Together, they embarked on a lifelong partnership defined by love, commitment, and resilience. Their bond was a testament to the power of enduring love, inspiring all who knew them. Together, Michiline and Wendell nurtured a strong and loving family, blessed with two children, Herold Timothy and Edna Etienne. They courageously moved to America in search of greater opportunities, where they continued to build their lives while holding firmly to their cherished values and traditions. As a grandmother, Michiline was a guiding light—offering support, encouragement, and unconditional love. Her stories, her smiles, and her prayers are etched in the hearts of her grandchildren, Esther, Jemima, Samiyah, Josue, and Tanisha Etienne. Through them, her legacy of patience, compassion, and faith will continue to guide generations to come. Michiline was a hardworking and dedicated woman who took immense pride in her profession as a dry cleaner, providing for her family with dignity and grace. Above all, she was a devoted wife and a faithful church member, whose life was a reflection of her deep spiritual commitment. Her faith was the cornerstone of her marriage and family, guiding her through life’s joys and challenges with unwavering strength. Though the family endured the heartbreaking loss of their daughter, Edna Etienne, Michiline remained a pillar of strength, continuing to uplift those around her with her faith and love. Michiline's passing is a testament to a life well-lived and richly blessed. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we find comfort in knowing that her spirit lives on through the family she nurtured and the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed, forever cherished, and always remembered. A celebration of Michiline's life will be held on April 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM at the First Haitian Baptist Church of Boston, located at 397 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester, MA 02121, United States. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by her grace are invited to join us in honoring her life and legacy. Rest in eternal peace, dear Michiline, as your spirit soars to the heavens, reunited with those you loved and missed. Your love and legacy will forever light our paths.
