In loving memory of Michelle Hammons, a beloved mother and loving partner, who passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, embraced by the warmth and love of those who cherished her deeply. Michelle was born on July 29, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan. Her life was a testament to love, compassion, and unwavering devotion to family and friends. A proud graduate of Western International High School, Michelle dedicated her life to creating a loving and nurturing home. As a homemaker, she poured her heart into caring for her children, Alicia and Anthony, ensuring that her home was a sanctuary filled with warmth and love. That love overflowed into her friendships and relationships. Michelle was a woman of many interests and talents. She loved bingo, word puzzles, sudoku, and playing board games. She also enjoyed watching the Game Show Network with family and friends gathered around. Always wanting to look and feel beautiful, she enjoyed curling her hair and doing her makeup. Those who knew Michelle will remember her remarkable ability to tell captivating throwback stories, each one offering a precious glimpse into the past. She had a natural gift for seeing the best in people and offering help to anyone in need. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she left an unforgettable mark on all who crossed her path. Michelle was the beloved daughter of her late parents and was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia, and her brothers, Larry and Eugene. Her legacy of love and kindness continues through her children, Alicia and Anthony; her granddaughter, Amina; her two cats, Miracle and Foxy; and her dog, Hershey. Michelle also leaves behind her lifelong partner of over 16 years, Ronald, who stood by her side through every moment, just as she did for him. Thank you for being a part of Michelle’s journey, for sharing in her joy, and for carrying forward the love she so freely gave. It is in these memories that her spirit lives on — a beacon of love and light for us all.
