Michelle Goldberg Foell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Michelle Goldberg Foell, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, on May 18, 2026. Born on November 12, 1955, in Meriden, Connecticut, Michelle left this world at the age of 70, surrounded by the love of her family.
Michelle was the cherished daughter of Frances Giacco and the late George Giacco. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Aaron Goldberg, whose memory she carried with her throughout her life. Michelle is survived by her devoted son, Ryan Goldberg; her precious twin granddaughters, Mia and Evelyn Goldberg, who were the light of her life; her loving mother, Frances Giacco; and her dear brothers, Jeff Giacco, Douglas Giacco, and George Giacco Jr. She will also be remembered fondly by her extended family, including Lynn Giacco and Kim Giacco.
A proud alumna of the University of Connecticut, Michelle furthered her education at Georgetown University, where she received her Advanced Practicing Neonatal Nurse degree. Her career as an APRN Nurse at Mid State Medical Center in Meriden spanned an admirable 35 years, during which she brought countless new lives into the world. Her dedication to her profession and the care she provided to her patients left an indelible mark on the community she served so faithfully.
Michelle's life was a testament to her warm spirit and her unwavering dedication to her family. She possessed a sharp intellect and a caring heart, and she was known for her infectious laughter and her unwavering support for those she loved. Her family always came first, and her home was a gathering place filled with love and laughter.
Outside of her professional life, Michelle found joy in traveling, exploring new places, and experiencing the world. She was an exceptional cook who delighted in sharing her culinary creations with family and friends. In recent years, she had taken up golfing, embracing the challenges of the sport with enthusiasm and determination.
A service to honor and celebrate Michelle's remarkable life will be held on May 28, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at Ferry & Son's Funeral Home, located at 88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450. For those unable to attend in person, the service will be available via livestream at https://www.jferryfh.com.
Michelle's legacy of love, kindness, and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. While she may no longer be with us, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire us. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will be cherished forever.
