Michelle Casteneda Bolden, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, and friend, passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 48. Born in Odessa, Texas, on July 5, 1978, Michelle was the cherished daughter of Sandy and Ernie Casteneda. She brought joy and love to everyone around her with her warm spirit and kind heart. Michelle spent her formative years in Odessa, where she cultivated a deep appreciation for family, community, and the simple joys of life. In 2007, she married the love of her life, Kevin Bolden, in Monroe, Louisiana. Together, they moved to Dallas, Texas, where they lovingly raised their children: Mio, Nikko, Sissy, and Bubba. Michelle's family was her pride and joy, and she took immense pleasure in the company of her grandchildren, Meme, Skeeter, and another beloved grandchild. Her home was a sanctuary of love, laughter, and heartfelt gatherings. Michelle pursued her education with determination, attending school in 2013 to become a director of medical records and administration. Her hard work and dedication led her to a fulfilling career at the Mayflower Rehabilitation Center, where she remained a valued team member until her passing. Michelle's colleagues admired her commitment, compassion, and unwavering professionalism. A true lover of life, Michelle found happiness in the simplest of pleasures. She enjoyed fishing, barbecuing with her family, and spending time with her grandchildren. Though she loved to travel and explore new places, she was a homebody at heart, finding contentment in the warmth of her own home surrounded by loved ones. Michelle is survived by her devoted husband, Kevin Bolden, her precious children, and her grandchildren, who will forever carry her legacy of love and kindness. She is also survived by her siblings Viejo, Steph, Marrisa, and Melanie, as well as her dear parents, Ernie and Sandy. Michelle's close friends, Lisa, Rochelle, and many others who cherished her, will forever hold her memory in their hearts. A service to celebrate Michelle's life will be held on August 22, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at the Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice, honoring Michelle's generous spirit and love for helping others.
