In Loving Memory

Michele Headrick bennett
August 31, 1961 — December 23, 2025
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michele Headrick Bennett, a beloved mother, sister, and friend. Michele left this world on December 23, 2025, at the age of 64. Her journey began on August 31, 1961, in Dalton, Georgia, where she was born to Trammell and Maxine Headrick.
Michele was a woman who brought warmth and light to all who knew her. She was known for her quick wit, warm smile, and affectionate hugs that could brighten the darkest of days. Her fierce love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she held a special place in her heart for each and every one of them.
Michele was predeceased by her father, Trammell Headrick; her sister, Patricia Headrick; and her brother, Barry Headrick. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish her memory: her son, Dale (Tori) Bennett; her brothers, Joseph Headrick, Scott Headrick, and Brian Headrick; and her sister, Kathy Headrick Bennett. Michele was also a cherished aunt to a host of nieces and nephews, and her legacy will live on through them. She was the proud grandmother of one, a role she treasured dearly.
A graduate of Lafayette High School, Michele carried the values of education and curiosity throughout her life. Her love for animals was boundless, and she shared her home and heart with two beloved fur babies, Luna and Nyla.
A service to celebrate Michele's life will be held on May 2, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Love Funeral Home, located at 1402 N Thornton Ave, Dalton, GA 30720. Family and friends are invited to gather and share memories, laughter, and tears as we honor the beautiful life Michele lived.
In these times of sorrow, we find solace in the words of Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV): "...Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength." Michele's family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this time of loss.
Michele Headrick Bennett touched the lives of many with her kindness, humor, and unwavering love. She will be dearly missed but never forgotten, as her spirit continues to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
