It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Micheal Moore, a beloved father, grandfather, and friend, who left this world on May 20, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on July 3, 1950, in Dayton, Ohio, Micheal lived a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. Micheal was a proud alumnus of The Ohio State University, graduating in 1973, and carried that pride throughout his life. His career was a testament to his hardworking spirit and his belief in the dignity of all labor. Micheal was a jack-of-all-trades, performing various jobs from cutting grass, assisting with gardening, to helping neighbors by taking their trash to the junkyard. No task was ever too small or too large for Micheal, who was known for always "making it happen when no one else could." In 1980, Micheal married the love of his life, Francis. Their marriage was a testament to true partnership and love, and they spent nearly four decades together before her passing in 2019. Micheal's love for Francis was evident in everything he did, and he carried her memory with him every day. Micheal is survived by his loving children, Micheala Edwards and Michael Moore Jr., who carry forward his legacy with grace and dignity. He was a proud and doting grandfather to two grandchildren, who brought immense joy to his life and in whom he delighted endlessly. Beyond his work and family, Micheal had a passion for life's simple pleasures. He was an avid card player, often spending evenings engaged in friendly competition, and found solace in the tranquility of fishing. Micheal also cherished traveling, always eager to explore new places and create lasting memories with those he loved. Micheal's life will be celebrated in a service on June 14, 2026, at 8:00 AM at New Life Baptist Church, located at 1875 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45414. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Micheal are invited to come together to honor and remember a life well-lived. In remembering Micheal, we acknowledge a man who lived with integrity, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. His spirit will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations. Rest in peace, dear Micheal.
