In Loving Memory

Michael Elloitt
April 12, 1946 — September 12, 2026
In loving memory of Micheal, who was born on April 12, 1946, in Boliver, Tennessee, and peacefully passed away at home on September 12, 2026. Micheal's life was a rich tapestry of love, dedication, and service, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Micheal was a devoted husband to Earline Mayflower, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring marriage. Their partnership, founded on love and mutual respect, stood as a testament to their unwavering commitment to one another. Together, they built a life full of cherished memories and moments of joy.
He was a proud father to his surviving children, Charles, Mike, Sara, and Donna, who will continue to carry forward his legacy of kindness, strength, and compassion. Micheal’s heart was full of love for his family, and he was blessed with 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, who were his pride and joy. His greatest happiness was found in the moments spent with his beloved grandchildren, teaching them to fish and sharing in their laughter and adventures.
Micheal served his country with honor in the army from 1969 to 1980. His dedication to service was evident not only in his military career but also in the way he lived his life, always putting others before himself and offering a helping hand to those in need.
Those who knew Micheal will remember him for his love of fishing, a hobby that brought him immense peace and contentment. Whether casting a line on a serene morning or sharing tales of the ones that got away, Micheal found solace in nature and the simple pleasures it provided.
He was predeceased by his children, who he now joins in eternal rest. Though their loss was profound, their memory lived on in the stories he shared and the love he continued to give.
A celebration of Micheal's life will be held on September 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Southaven Church of Christ, located at 681 Church Rd E, Southaven, MS. Friends and family are invited to gather to honor a life well-lived and to share in the memories of a remarkable man.
