June 27, 1990 — February 22, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Micheal DeShawn Monger, a beloved son, father, brother, and friend, who left this world on February 22, 2026. Born on June 27, 1990, in Grenada, Mississippi, Micheal was a beacon of light, known for his infectious smile and a heart full of kindness. Micheal was the cherished son of Sammie Monger, who survives him, and a devoted father to his children, Micheal Jr. and Summer. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Renisha and Candace, and his brothers, LeAnthony, Mario, James, and DeAngelo. Micheal leaves behind his godparents, James and Linda, whose guidance and love were constants in his life. From a young age, Micheal exhibited a passion for cars and music. He embraced the role of the "family mechanic," always eager to lend a hand to anyone with a car problem. His garage was a place of learning, laughter, and friendship. However, it was music that captured Micheal's heart most profoundly. A talented songwriter and instrumentalist, he dreamed of sharing his art with the world, and his compositions continue to inspire those who knew him. Micheal's personality was as vibrant as his interests. He had a quick wit and a warm smile, always ready to lighten the mood with a well-timed joke. His ability to make everyone feel welcomed and valued was a testament to his generous spirit. Whether through his laughter or his acts of kindness, Micheal's presence touched countless lives, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. A celebration of Micheal's life will be held on March 7, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Clark Funeral Home in Grenada, Mississippi. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Micheal are invited to gather and honor his memory. As Micheal's family, we wish to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. We find comfort in the words, "Forever in our hearts," "Gone but not forgotten," and "A life well-lived," which perfectly encapsulate the essence of Micheal's journey. Though he may no longer be with us, Micheal's spirit will forever live on in the stories we share, the music he created, and the love he gave so freely. Rest in peace, dear Micheal. Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
