Micheal was the beloved son of Darryl Desrosiers and Joeann Lafferty. Throughout his life, he was a beacon of joy and vitality for those who knew him. Micheal's life, though tragically cut short, was filled with moments of unbridled laughter and fun-loving adventures that touched everyone around him. His vivacious spirit and infectious smile were testaments to his generous heart and zest for life. A proud employee of Safeway, Micheal was known for his strong work ethic and friendly demeanor. He formed lasting relationships with colleagues and customers alike, leaving a lasting impression with his warmth and kindness. Beyond his professional endeavors, Micheal found joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly his love for playing video games. His passion for gaming was more than just a pastime; it was a way for him to connect with friends and family, sharing countless hours of camaraderie and joy. Micheal was predeceased by his brother, Justin Lafferty, and cherished family members, Pattie Ann and Aaron, whose memories he held dear. He is survived by a loving family who will continue to celebrate his life and legacy: his uncle Chris Desrosiers, Ernest Desrosiers, Eddie Lafferty, Allen Lafferty, Freddy Lafferty, Laura Hostelley, Cynthia Desrosiers, cousin Jenny Hamnes, Zane Desrosiers, and Jacob Desrosiers. Each of them carries a piece of Micheal's spirit in their hearts, forever cherishing the moments they shared. To honor Micheal’s life, a memorial service will be held on May 10, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Laurelwood Park, located at 6300 SE Foster. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories, and celebrate the beautiful life Micheal lived. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Micheal Darryl Lafferty Memorial Fund, ensuring that his legacy of love and kindness continues to touch lives. Micheal's untimely passing due to an overdose on fentanyl serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing each moment.
