It is with heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Micheal Bishop, cherished son, devoted father, beloved husband, and treasured friend. Micheal was born on January 16, 1988, in Mesa, Arizona, and his journey on earth came to a close on October 14, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. Micheal was the beloved son of Jannean Bishop and the late Stephen Bishop. He grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the vibrant community of Mesa. Micheal graduated from high school in 2003 and took a pivotal step in his life when he married his high school sweetheart, Jessica Pedigo, in 2004. Together, Micheal and Jessica built a life filled with adventure and joy, welcoming two beautiful sons, Maddox and Cruise, into their family. Micheal's love for his family was profound, and he found great happiness in coaching his sons' baseball teams and being present for every milestone. In pursuit of furthering his education, Micheal attended college from 2004 to 2007, earning an associate degree in Business Management. His career began with Caterpillar, where he excelled as a machine shop foreman. In 2018, Micheal's entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when he collaborated with his brother, Paul, to establish "Up and Smokehouse BBQ and Catering," a successful venture that brought people together over delicious food and good company. Micheal was an active member of Saint Anthony's Catholic Church for a decade, where he and his family found spiritual nourishment and community. His life was enriched by his passion for travel, from exploring the majestic mountains of Arizona to soaking up the sun on California's beaches. Yet, amidst all his adventures, Micheal's happiest moments were spent in the comfort of his new home, surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his mother, Jannean Bishop, his devoted sons, Maddox and Cruise, and his brother, Paul Bishop. Micheal's memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a man of strong will and an even stronger heart, a family man who cared immensely for his children and wife. In accordance with his family's wishes, a private ceremony will be held to celebrate Micheal's life. The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. They ask that Micheal be remembered for the love he shared, the laughter he brought, and the strength he embodied. Let us honor his memory by keeping his spirit alive in our hearts. For those who wish to honor Micheal's memory, donations can be made in his name to an organization of your choice. "Let us remember Micheal for who he was—a strong-willed, strong-hearted family man. Micheal will live on in all of us forever. We love you, Micheal Bishop. Watch over us, please."
