Michael was the cherished son of the late Ed and Shirley Webb, who instilled in him values of perseverance and kindness. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Janet Lou Webb, and his brothers, Daniel, Mark, and Bradley Webb. The loving memories of these dear ones never left him, and he spoke often of their impact on his life. A proud patriot, Michael dedicated over 40 years to serving his country with honor and distinction in the United States Army. His military journey took him around the world, with postings in Germany, Kansas, Louisiana, and North Carolina, where he served in various tank units. Michael culminated his extraordinary career with a Special Operations unit, earning numerous medals and awards that stood testament to his exemplary service and unwavering commitment to his nation. Michael carried this same dedication into his family life. He is survived by his sons, Michael and his wife Georgia of Ripley, and Bryan and his wife Tara of Clayton, NC. His legacy lives on through his three adored grandchildren, Elliott, Lucia, and Vivien, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life. Michael's brothers, Randy Webb and David Webb, and sisters, Nancy Snead and Debi Harvey, will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. A private funeral ceremony will be held to honor Michael's life, reflecting his family's wishes for an intimate gathering. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Michael’s memory to a charity of choice, celebrating his spirit of generosity and care for others.
