Michael Ted Bellamy II, born on October 13, 1982, in the warm embrace of Tampa, Florida, passed away on April 5, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories. His journey, though concluded too soon, was a tapestry woven with kindness, passion, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear.
Michael was the beloved son of Kathy Wilkes and Michael T. Bellamy, and stepson to Denise, who all shared in the pride of his accomplishments and the warmth of his spirit. His sons, Bryce and Christopher, were the light of his life, and he was a devoted father whose love knew no bounds. He is also survived by his dear sisters, Johnna and Tristesia, who shared in the joys and challenges of life with him. His legacy is further enriched by the love of his maternal grandparents, Otis and Ruth Caldwell, and grandmother, Adenia Kitt, who provided a foundation of wisdom and support.
Michael's family extended beyond blood, encompassing aunts Daphne and Tina, uncles Reg, Roger, Goodman, Richard, Robert, and Ron, along with a multitude of cousins and friends who became family. Each relationship was nurtured with care, laughter, and a shared appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.
Education was a milestone that Michael embraced with determination, earning his GED and cultivating a profound appreciation for technology. This passion guided him to a successful career as a Project Manager in the installation of security systems. Michael's colleagues and clients admired his professionalism, dedication, and the trust he instilled through his steadfast work ethic.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Michael was a soul who sought joy in the everyday. An active member of the Boat Rock and Camelot Crew, he found happiness in the camaraderie of close friends and the soulful rhythms of old school music. His love for cooking, particularly barbecuing, was legendary among his family; each meal prepared on the grill was a testament to his affection and the joy he found in bringing people together around a shared table.
Travel was a passion that filled Michael's heart with dreams of adventure and exploration. Italy beckoned to him as a future home, a place where he envisioned embracing new cultures and experiences. Though that dream was not realized, his spirit of wanderlust and curiosity inspired all who knew him.
Michael will be remembered not only for his achievements and interests but, most importantly, for his essence as a person. He was a beloved son, a devoted father, a cherished brother, and a loyal friend. His memory will be a beacon of love and gratitude in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
