Michael Norman Ross, a beloved member of the Regina community, passed away on January 19th, 2026, at the age of 56. Born on December 24th, 1970, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Michael was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Throughout his life, Michael was known for his quick wit and kind smile, traits that endeared him to many. He was a social soul who loved being surrounded by people, always up for a one-on-one conversation that made others feel at ease. His generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need were hallmarks of his character, and he was an integral part of his community. He was also often seen with his lovely companion Zeus, his furry black Pitbull cross that never left his side despite all the hardship they encountered together.
Michael’s spirit will live on in the cherished memories of those who loved him, including his friends and chosen family at Phoenix Residential Society and the mental health clinic of Regina. His compassion and warmth touched the hearts of many, and his absence will be deeply felt.
Predeceased by his loving partner, Stephanie Pelletier, Michael faced life's challenges with remarkable grace and resilience. Despite the losses he endured, he continued to spread kindness and joy, leaving an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
