Michael was the beloved son of the late Joseph and Kathy Fleischmann, who have now welcomed him into their eternal embrace, alongside his brother, Mark Patrick Fleischmann. His spirit lives on through his devoted mother, Patricia Ann Rogers, and his loving sisters, Michele Ann Fleischmann, Tricia Kay Jutras, and Aimee Marie Coen. His memory will also be cherished by his dear nephews, Earl Lee Tournear and Emerson Mark Fleischmann, who looked up to him with admiration and love.
A proud graduate of William Fremd High School, Michael pursued higher education at Western New Mexico University in Silver City, New Mexico. He found his calling as a painter by trade, where his creativity and attention to detail shone brightly. Beyond his profession, Michael had a passion for owning and caring for horses, a testament to his nurturing and compassionate nature.
Michael's love for the great outdoors was evident in his lifelong passion for fishing. From the peaceful ponds of his childhood to the vast bays and oceans, he found joy in casting his line into the waters of Lake Geneva, Florida, Texas and even the distant beauty of Alaska. His connection to nature was matched by his ability to connect with people. Known for his quick wit, infectious laugh, and warm smile, Michael had a remarkable gift for making those around him feel welcome and valued. His humor and light-hearted spirit could brighten the darkest of days, leaving a lasting impact on everyone he encountered.
A service to celebrate Michael's life will be held on June 28, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Cocial in Arlington Heights, Illinois. The family warmly invites all who have been touched by Michael's presence to join them in honoring his memory and sharing in the stories of his remarkable life.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Michael's honor, reflecting his generous spirit and desire to support those in need.
