It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Michael J E Brown, who departed this world on February 10, 2026, at the age of 57. Born on January 12, 1969, in the city of Baltimore, Maryland. Michael was a beacon of light and joy to all who were privileged to know him. His life was a testament to a spirit that was both carefree and deeply rooted in faith. Michael was the cherished son of Kenneth English and the late Darletta Brown. He leaves behind a loving family who will forever hold his memory close: his devoted father, Kenneth English, and his dear sister, Celeste English. Michael was also a treasured nephew and cousin, leaving behind his aunts Brenda Young, Lynda Huston, and Nita Jeffers, as well as his cousins Jamelle Huston, Lania Huston, Nicole Jeffers, Ashlee Jeffers, and Markita Chisholm. He will be fondly remembered by a host of family and countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and kindness. Educated in the Baltimore School System, Michael was a proud graduate of Northwestern High School. His career led him to Washington D.C., where he held various positions, each reflecting his versatility and dedication. Despite the demands of his career, Michael always found time to enjoy the outdoors, a passion that underscored his love for life. Whether he was biking, riding scooters, or simply spending time with those he loved, Michael's presence was always uplifting and joyful. A man of deep faith, Michael grew up with a strong belief in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith was a guiding light throughout his life, providing comfort and strength to him and those around him. Michael's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and living life to its fullest. He possessed an innate ability to make those around him smile, a gift that will be sorely missed but fondly remembered. A celebration of Michael's life will be held on March 8, 2026, at 1:30 PM at March West Funeral Home, located at 4300 Wabash Avenue. We invite all whose lives he touched to join us in commemorating a life well-lived and a spirit that continues to shine brightly in our hearts. The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the prayers, condolences, and acts of kindness expressed during this difficult time.
