Michael Fitzpatrick

Michael Fitzpatrick, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026, at the age of 70. Born in the sunny city of San Diego on August 1, 1955, Michael lived a life filled with love, dedication, and meaningful contributions to his family and community. Michael was the cherished son of John and Margaret and shared a special bond with his late father, Mike, and sister, Dawn, who predeceased him. He is survived by his devoted wife, June, whom he married in 2010, and their wonderful daughter, Gia. His nurturing mother, Margaret, his sisters, Rose and Betty, as well as his mother-in-law, Rose, and three sister-in-laws, continue to hold his memory dear. A man of remarkable intelligence and diligence, Michael was a proud graduate of PCTS and went on to earn a master’s degree from LaSalle University. His career as a computer programmer was marked by his hard work and dedication, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and friends alike. Michael's heart was as vast as the ocean he loved so dearly. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, like jogging along the beach, cheering on his favorite sports teams, attending concerts, and, most importantly, spending time with June and Gia. His true happiness was hosting Easter dinners, where laughter and love warmed the hearts of everyone gathered. An active member of his church, Michael’s faith and generosity were evident in every aspect of his life. He was known for his kindness and his unwavering support for those he loved. A loving son, a caring brother, and a doting father, his legacy of warmth and compassion will live on through his family and friends.
