In loving memory of Michael Estle Wilson, who passed away peacefully at his home in Jackson, Michigan, on February 21, 2026, surrounded by his beloved dogs, his most cherished companions. Born on July 24, 1959, in Jackson, Michigan, Michael's life was a testament to kindness, resilience, and an unyielding love for family, friends, and the simple joys of life. Michael was the devoted husband and lifelong partner of Tana Wilson, with whom he shared countless memories and unwavering love. Together, they created a beautiful family, raising three sons who carry forth his legacy. His family was his pride and joy, further enriched by the presence of two grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring love and values he instilled. A proud graduate of Jackson High School, Michael was a man of many talents, known for his work in drywall and as a backyard mechanic. His hands were skilled, his mind sharp, and his heart always open to mastering new trades. A die-hard hustler, Michael was never one to shy away from hard work, always finding ways to provide for his family and lend a helping hand to those in need. Michael's passions extended beyond work. He cherished the moments spent with his son, Nicholas, working on projects and tinkering with the treasures he collected. An avid collector, he found joy in antiques, trinkets, and coins, each item telling a story of his rich life. He was a man who loved to gather with friends and family, sharing laughter and stories over a cold beer, with his loyal dogs always by his side. Known for his warm heart and infectious smile, Michael was the nicest and sweetest person one could ever meet. His presence was a beacon of happiness, rarely overshadowed by sadness or anger. He had an uncanny ability to bring light into the lives of those he encountered, always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand at the mere ring of a phone. Michael embodied true happiness, a light in the lives of all who knew him. A celebration of Michael's life will be held on March 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by his kindness are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived, a man whose legacy of love and joy will forever echo in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Michael's memory by living with the same warmth and generosity he showed to the world. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all whose lives he touched.
