Michael's journey began in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, on September 20, 1985, where he was welcomed into the world by his devoted mother, Annette Staten. Michael's life was a tapestry woven with threads of love, resilience, and an unwavering spirit. He was a beacon of kindness and a source of strength to those fortunate enough to know him. His laughter was infectious, his wisdom profound, and his heart as expansive as the sky over his beloved hometown. Despite the challenges life presented, Michael lived with a tenacity and grace that inspired everyone around him. He was a man who wore many hats, but perhaps the role he cherished most was that of a grandfather. His two grandchildren were the light of his life, and he took immense joy in every moment shared with them, imparting lessons of love and courage that will resonate through generations. Michael is predeceased by his mother, Annette Staten, whose nurturing spirit and unconditional love shaped the compassionate man he became. Friends, family, and all whose lives were touched by Michael are invited to join in celebrating a life that was lived with purpose and joy. The Staten family extends their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Your kindness and presence mean more than words can express, and they find comfort in knowing that Michael's spirit lives on in the hearts of many.
