Michael was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Elaine Sisk, with whom he shared 33 wonderful years of marriage. Their love was a beacon of light and strength, embodying partnership, mutual respect, and unwavering support. Elaine preceded him in death, and Michael often spoke of their reunion in heaven with fond anticipation.
A cornerstone of his community, Michael retired from a fulfilling career with the city of Atlanta, where he was known for his diligence and a genuine desire to make a difference. His work was not just a job, but a testament to his selflessness and commitment to improving the lives of others.
An active member of Euharlee Baptist Church, Michael found joy and purpose in his faith and the fellowship it brought. Michael will be lovingly remembered by his stepdaughter, Crissy Wood, and her husband, Patrick, who were his pride and joy.
