It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Micah Little, who left us far too soon on August 17, 2026. Born on March 10, 2011, in Chapel Hill, Micah was a beacon of joy and warmth to all who knew him. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family, friends, and community. Micah was a bright and spirited young soul who brought sunshine into the lives of everyone he encountered. His laughter was infectious, his kindness boundless, and his spirit unyielding. A talented athlete, Micah was proudly recognized for his exceptional skills on the soccer field. He earned the 8th-grade soccer MVP award, a testament to his dedication, teamwork, and passion for the sport. Micah's enthusiasm for life extended beyond the soccer field. He recently celebrated his graduation from the 9th grade, ready to embrace the adventures and challenges of his educational journey with optimism and determination. Micah's heart was as expansive as his dreams, filled with compassion and empathy for others. His parents, Rex and Jennifer Little, were the pillars of his strength and the foundation of his happiness. They nurtured his many talents, dreams, and aspirations, providing him with endless love and support. The memory of their beloved son will forever remain in their hearts, cherished and celebrated. In remembering Micah, we honor a life lived with sincerity and joy. Though his time with us was tragically cut short, the impact he made on those around him will endure.
