Born on April 16, 1988, in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, Metu was a cherished son of Mr. and Mrs. Victor (SNR) Metu. He graduated from Imo State University in 2012 with a degree in Industrial Chemistry, a field that fueled his curiosity and innovative spirit. His entrepreneurial journey was marked by his ventures as a serial entrepreneur and a farmer, where he demonstrated an unwavering commitment to growth, both personally and professionally. In December of 2019, Metu married the love of his life, Ijeoma Crystal. Their union was a beautiful testament to love and partnership, filled with laughter, adventure, and mutual support. Together, they shared dreams and built a life full of joy and companionship. Metu was a man of deep faith, a devoted Catholic who lived his life in service to others. His involvement with Brothers Across Nigeria was a reflection of his generous spirit and dedication to community. Whether supporting a friend or lending a hand to a stranger, Metu was always ready to offer kindness and compassion. A fervent fan of FC Barcelona, Metu's enthusiasm for the beautiful game was infectious. He was known as the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to any gathering. His presence was a beacon of warmth and energy, uplifting those around him with his humor and zest for life. As we gather to celebrate Metu's remarkable life, we remember him as a beloved son, husband, and friend. Though our hearts are heavy with loss, his legacy of love and kindness will forever inspire us. At the family's request, a private ceremony will be held to honor Metu's memory.
