Mervel is survived by her beloved family, including her devoted relative Freynel Jn Baptiste, and her four adoring grandchildren, who were the joys of her life. An active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, she lived her beliefs with a fervor that inspired others to seek their own spiritual paths. Her dedication extended beyond her spiritual community; as a member of the Wellington Rotary Club, she embodied the club's motto, "Service Above Self," in every facet of her life. Mervel's generosity knew no bounds. She had a profound love for cooking and took immense joy in feeding others, often turning meals into gatherings of laughter and love.
