August 18, 1948 — June 27, 2026

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Merry Anne Boles, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who left this world on June 27, 2026. Merry's journey began on August 18, 1948, in the welcoming embrace of Fort Collins, Colorado, where she was born to Earl and Doris McCoy. Her life was a testament to kindness, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to those she loved and the community she served. Merry's life was enriched by a deep love for her family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bill, and her brother, Chuck, whom she held dear in her heart. Her legacy continues through her devoted sons, Charles and Robert, and her daughter-in-law Heather, who cherished her as a mother and mentor. Merry was also a proud and doting grandmother to her three grandchildren, who will forever carry forward her spirit of love and resilience. Merry's siblings, sister Carol and her husband Dave, brother Jerry and his wife Pat, along with her sister-in-law Kristy, remain a testament to the enduring bonds of family. Their shared memories and laughter are a tribute to the warmth and love Merry radiated throughout her life. Professionally, Merry dedicated over 25 years to the State of California, where she made significant contributions, particularly during her tenure with the Medical Board of California. Her colleagues remember her as a compassionate and diligent professional whose work ethic and integrity left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside her. A committed member of The American Legion Auxiliary, Merry devoted herself to service and camaraderie, supporting veterans and their families with the same passion and dedication she extended to her own loved ones. Her involvement in the community was a reflection of her generous spirit and unwavering belief in the power of collective kindness. As we gather to celebrate Merry's life, we invite family and friends to join us for a service on June 29, 2026. It will be a time to honor her remarkable journey, to share stories and memories that capture her essence, and to find comfort in the love she so freely shared with all who knew her. Merry Anne Boles was a light in the lives of many, and her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of compassion, laughter, and unwavering dedication to family and community. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
