She was an avid card player and delighted in solving word puzzles, often gathering with family and friends to share in these pastimes. Her home was a welcoming refuge, filled with laughter and love, where she dedicated herself to the care and well-being of those she held dear. Mercedes's enduring spirit and compassionate heart touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
