July 11, 1987 — October 20, 2026

On October 20, 2026, the world became a little dimmer with the passing of Melvin Daniel Frazier Jr., a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born on July 11, 1987, Daniel graced us with a life filled with warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. Daniel was the cherished son of Melvin Frazier Sr. and the late Patsy Kay Luttrell Frazier. He was a beacon of strength and compassion, embodying the values of kindness and humility imparted by his parents. Daniel leaves behind his father, Melvin Frazier Sr (Nickie), and his brother, Stephen Dooley (Heather). His sisters, Ashley Jones (Albert) and Jennifer Brown, will forever hold his memory close to their hearts, as will his many nieces and nephews, who adored their Uncle Daniel. Throughout his life, Daniel was known for his generous spirit and infectious joy. He had an extraordinary ability to connect with others, making everyone he met feel seen and valued. Whether through his work, his friendships, or his family, Daniel left an indelible mark on all who knew him. Daniel’s passions were many, from his love of music to his eagerness to help others and to be there for his family and friends. He had an adventurous spirit, always eager to explore new places and cultures, which enriched his perspective and deepened his appreciation for life’s simple pleasures. In honor of Daniel’s wishes, a memorial ceremony will be held to celebrate his life along with a balloon release. Anyone wishing to attend can join us at Hayti Park on 10/27/26 at 430pm. If anyone would like to donate toward Daniel’s final expenses or to support the family during this time of grief, please send donations to Cash App $sdooley84 or directly to Powell Funeral Home in Steele, MO. Though Daniel’s journey on this earth has come to an end, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift all who were fortunate enough to know him. As we say goodbye, we hold tight to the memories of his laughter, his love, and his unwavering belief in the goodness of people. Rest in peace, dear Daniel. You will be profoundly missed, but your legacy of kindness and compassion will continue to guide us all.
