Meleana Segura, cherished mother, devoted grandmother, and beloved sister, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2026, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on July 14, 1980, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Meleana was a beacon of love and kindness who touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and unwavering strength. Meleana was the beloved daughter of the late Jacob Adams and MaryAnn Peneku Adams. Her life was enriched by a profound bond with her person, Autumn Fuentes, who stood by her side through life's many adventures. Meleana's heart was filled with love for her sons, Julian and Alex Segura, who were her greatest joy and pride. She delighted in being a grandmother to Roman Segura and eagerly anticipated welcoming another grandson in November. Meleana embraced her role as a sister to Kalani Adams and his wife Misty, Puna-Wai Adams and his wife Jodie, Jessica Lopez and her husband James, and Jennie-Walker Adams and her wife Panyin. She was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and a cherished presence in the lives of her grandnieces and grandnephews. Meleana was known for her quiet strength and her ability to convey her desires with clarity and purpose. Her goodness shone through in every relationship she nurtured, and her friends loved her dearly for her unwavering loyalty and compassion. Her boys were her world, and her grandson, Roman, was the light of her life. A private celebration of life will be held to honor Meleana's memory, respecting her wishes and the intimate bond she shared with her family. In lieu of flowers, donations in Meleana's memory can be made to Community Healthcare of Texas, the Huguley location, in appreciation of the compassionate care they provided. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Community Healthcare of Texas hospice house at Huguley for their exceptional support and kindness during Meleana's final days. Her spirit will forever be a guiding light to her family and friends, reminding them of the beauty of a life lived with courage and grace.
