Her passion for literature and education inspired countless students, who remember her as a nurturing mentor and a beacon of encouragement. In addition to her commitment to education, Melanie shared her love of music with the community, performing with the Roseville Community Concert Band for nearly 15 years. Her talent and joy for music resonated with all who had the privilege of hearing her play, leaving behind a legacy of artistic expression and community spirit. On August 12, 1995, Melanie married her soulmate, James Linder. Together, they built a life of love and laughter, celebrating 32 beautiful years of marriage. Their bond was a source of strength and inspiration, rooted in mutual respect and unwavering support. Melanie's family was her greatest pride and joy.
