Born on July 5, 1937, in the picturesque province of Tacloban, Leyte in the Philippines, Melania brought warmth and joy to all who knew her. Her life's journey was marked by love, resilience, and a steadfast devotion to her family. In 1957, Melania embarked on a lifelong adventure with her beloved husband, Generoso Velasquez, when they exchanged vows on June 29. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter, nurturing their family with unwavering dedication. Melania's legacy is carried on by her two devoted children, Bong and Bo, who were raised with the values and principles she held dear. She was also a cherished grandmother to Gene Benedict, Gene Anthony, Geninah, Sherrie, Pamela, Geremia, and Angelia, who were all blessed to experience her guidance and affection. Her love extended to her great-grandchildren, Jude, Juliana, Cassian, Jayden, Kaleia, Evelyn, James, and Gene, who brought immense joy to her later. Forever in our hearts, Melania's legacy will endure in the love and memories she leaves behind.
