In Loving Memory

Meagan Granados
February 21, 1986 — May 30, 2026
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Meagan Granados, a loving mother, cherished daughter, and treasured friend, who left this world on May 30, 2026, at the age of 40. Born on February 21, 1986, in the sunlit town of Sarasota, Florida, Meagan was a beacon of light and love to all who knew her.
Meagan was the beloved daughter of Beth Yoder and the late Coburn Morgan, and the cherished granddaughter of the late Rosalie Morgan. She is survived by her devoted children, Christian and Xaeden Morgan, and Rozzalyne and Ghiselle Granados, who were the center of her world and her greatest joy.
A proud graduate of Ottumwa High School in 2006, Meagan pursued her passion for beauty and creativity, earning a cosmetology degree from the Iowa School of Beauty in 2011. Her talents and dedication were evident not only in her professional endeavors but also in the warmth and care she extended to everyone around her.
Meagan was a woman of many interests and talents. She found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, spending countless afternoons having picnics at the park with her children, where laughter and love flowed freely. Her creativity shone through in her love for crafting, where she created beauty with her own hands. Meagan was also deeply passionate about yoga and pilates, and was in the process of obtaining a degree in this field she held so dear.
Those who knew Meagan will remember her as a woman with an extraordinarily big heart. She was always willing to lend a helping hand, putting the needs of others before her own, and caring deeply for everyone she encountered. Her bright smile and positive spirit were a constant source of comfort and inspiration to those around her.
Despite the battles she faced, Meagan's love and kindness never wavered. She fought a long and courageous battle with depression, and while her passing leaves a void that can never be filled, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time. In accordance with their wishes, no public service will be held at this time. An intimate awakening will be planned for the near future. They kindly ask for privacy as they navigate their grief and appreciate your understanding and compassion.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations be made in Meagan's memory to mental health organizations, in hopes of helping others who are facing similar struggles.
Meagan Granados will be dearly missed but forever remembered for her kindness, warmth, and the immeasurable love she brought into the world. May she rest in peace, cradled in the arms of those who have gone before her.
