With profound sadness, we announce the passing of MC Lowery Jr, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. MC departed this life peacefully on June 18, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on August 28, 1957, in Noxubee County, he was the beloved son of the late MC Lowery Sr and Dorothy Harris Lowery.
Left to honor and celebrate his life is his devoted wife, Geraldine Gordon Lowery, whom he joined in holy matrimony on February 4, 2011. Together, they embraced life’s journey, nurturing a home filled with love and laughter. MC is survived by his four cherished children: Lenora Byrd and Viola Davis of Columbus, MS, and Victor Binion and Marcus Binion of Macon, MS. His love and wisdom live on through his four beloved grandchildren: Dontavious Binion, Keria Davis, Zakiya Warren, and Zayden Warren, all of Columbus, MS, and three great-grandchildren, who will carry his legacy into the future.
He is also survived by his dear sister Ruby Richardson and her husband Johnnie of Columbus, MS, and his special half-siblings, Juanita and Wallace Skinner. MC held a close bond with his brother-in-law, Leeroy Shelton, and adored his special nieces, Shunta Luster and Terrrica Shelton. His extended family includes six stepchildren, numerous grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will all miss him.

"To my husband', though you're no longer here with me, your love and presence remain in my heart every day. Not even in death can steal the love I feel for you. You will always be my king. We had some good days and some bad days, but our love kept us strong for 16 years. You will always be in my heart. I love you, baby."

As your daugthers we was proud that you was our dad. You was always in our life and always spent time with us ,no matter where we was .We are glad that you got to spend time with our kids and you knew how much they loved you .We know that God saw the road was getting rough ,the hills was hard to climb .He gently closed your eyes ,and whispered 'peace be thine '.We all love you ,but god loves you best.

Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road,
And the sun has set for me,
