Maxwell Ellinor

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Maxwell "Bubba" Ellinor, who left us on September 11, 2026. Bubba was born on July 8, 1972, in Tallahassee, FL, and from the moment he arrived, he was surrounded by the warmth and love of family, a legacy he continued throughout his life. Bubba was the beloved son of the late Maxwell Ellinor and Roxanne Taylor. He was cherished by his late grandparents, Thomas and Geraldine Pittman, JD and Edith Ellinor, and was predeceased by his stepfather, David Taylor, and his uncle, Sam Pittman. He is survived by his mother, Roxanne Taylor, and mother-in-law, Marilyn Hughes, who was like a second mother to him. On August 13, 1994, Bubba married the love of his life, Sabrina Hughes Ellinor. Together, they built a beautiful family filled with laughter, love, and the joy of raising their three children: daughter Haley Law (Lane), and sons Austin Ellinor (Emily) and Wesley Ellinor. Bubba's legacy of love continues with his cherished grandchildren: Brylee Ellinor, Dakota Law, Joseph Ellinor, Paisley Law, and Jameson Ellinor, who were truly the pride and joy of his life. A graduate of Godby High School in 1990, Bubba was a respected and skilled furniture upholsterer. He honed his craft while working alongside his grandparents at Pittman's Upholstery, eventually fulfilling his dream of opening his own business, Maxwell Ellinor Upholstery. His dedication and craftsmanship earned him a reputation as one of the finest upholsterers in town, a testament to his work ethic and passion. Bubba's heart was as big as his love for his family and friends. Known for his generosity and readiness to lend a helping hand, he was a beacon of warmth and kindness to all who knew him. He never missed a chance to support his children, attending every baseball and softball game, going on school field trips, and cherished every moment spent with his beloved grandchildren. His love for fishing provided him peaceful moments of reflection and joy, often shared with those closest to him. He leaves behind his sister, Amy Ellinor; nieces Tara Ellinor (Greg) and Karragin Mickens (Taveion); nephew Trey Koch (Jeana Lynn); uncle Joe Pittman (Carrie); aunt Dorothy Vick (Dennis); a great neice and nephew; and countless cousins. Bubba's family extends beyond blood, with dear friends whose lives he touched with his kindness. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers during this difficult time. Bubba will be forever in our hearts, remembered for his unwavering love, his generous spirit, and his profound impact on every life he touched. His legacy will live on in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the love that continues to surround his family and friends.
