Maxine Magillicutty

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Maxine Magillicutty, who departed this world far too soon on April 14, 2007. Maxine was born on February 14, 1997, in Baltimore, Maryland, and although her time with us was brief, her impact and spirit will remain with us forever. Maxine was a vibrant and loving child whose presence brought joy and light to all who knew her. Throughout her short life, she was known for her infectious laughter, compassionate heart, and an insatiable curiosity about the world around her. From a young age, Maxine showed an extraordinary love for animals and dreamed of one day becoming a veterinarian. Her days were often spent caring for her pets and volunteering at local animal shelters, where she found immense joy and purpose. A true friend to all, Maxine was always there to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. Her radiant smile and warm personality made her a treasured companion to many. She cherished her family deeply and was a devoted daughter, sister, and granddaughter who filled her home with love and laughter. Although Maxine's journey was cut tragically short, her legacy endures in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She is remembered not only for her kindness and empathy but also for her courage and resilience in the face of challenges. A memorial service to celebrate Maxine's life will be held on October 1, 2026. Family and friends are invited to gather and share in the beautiful memories of Maxine's life and the love she left behind. In honor of Maxine's memory and her love for helping others, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization that was dear to her heart. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is located in Memphis, Tennessee, and works tirelessly to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. Maxine's spirit will continue to shine through all the lives she touched. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy of love and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. May she rest in peace.
